✈️ Getting There

The wedding will be held in Bali, Indonesia, near one of the cultural centers of the island, Ubud . The wedding will be held at the villa complex called Pala Ubud about 15 minutes from the center of Ubud.

Flying to Bali

There is one major international airport in Bali, Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), located in the city of Denpasar, on the southern coast of the island.

Unless you’re flying in from South East Asia or Australia, you will likely need to fly in via Singapore, Hong Kong, or Kuala Lumpur; this will depend on your country of origin and which airline you choose.

For instance, if you fly with Singapore Airlines, the flight from San Francisco to Singapore is approximately 16-17 hours, and the flight from Singapore to Bali is approximately two and a half hours.

Getting to Ubud

You have a few options to get to Ubud from the airport.

  • Official airport taxi counter: Get a fixed fare taxi from the official counter at the airport (about 20-40 USD depending on the number of people and time of day).
  • Ride-hailing apps: Download Grab or Gojek (the Indonesian versions of Uber) on your phone. Prices can be slightly cheaper using these apps.

You can expect the ride to take between 45 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the traffic and time of day.
